During his time in the Navy, Jeff's ship, the USS Ticonderoga, embarked on a six-week mission and collaborated with the Coast Guard in a joint effort to locate and apprehend drug smugglers. Alongside this experience, he had the opportunity to operate flight simulators that were once utilized for training F-14 pilots. Despite never trying out for the Navy SEALs, Jeff engaged in training sessions with them to learn fighting techniques, escape and evasion tactics, as well as survival skills.
